(“IFPSI”) was incorporated with the objective of operating as a Private Equity Management Corporation (“PEMC”) under the regulatory purview of the Securities Commission Malaysia (“SC”). The company’s primary mandate is to manage private equity funds focusing on growth-stage enterprises and strategic industries, while progressively positioning itself as a fully Shariah-compliant investment platform for Malaysia and the wider ASEAN region.

IFPSI is structured in accordance with SC’s regulatory guidelines, maintaining strict standards of governance, compliance, and fiduciary responsibility. A comprehensive compliance and risk framework, including AML/CFT controls, underpins its operations. Upon licensing, a Shariah Advisory Panel will be appointed to ensure adherence to Islamic principles.

Led by a team of experienced professionals with strong backgrounds in banking, financial planning, corporate finance and capital markets, IFPSI aims to build investor confidence through transparency and accountability. Its inaugural fund will target high-impact sectors such as financial technology (fintech), agriculture and food security, healthcare, sustainable development, halal economy, logistics and digital infrastructure, guided by disciplined investment principles, robust risk management and structured exit strategies, including trade sales and IPOs.
